Through all the seasons it has aired, I have viewed a grand total of perhaps 10 minutes of 'American Idol', so I was not familiar with Ms. Underwood's talent until I found this song on YouTube. I must concur with a previous reviewer...WOW. After hearing it, I listened to many other performances, including those from Idol. Ms. Underwood is a VERY gifted young woman.
Her rendition of this beautiful, classic gospel favorite is amazing, uplifting and tear-inducing. Bravo, Carrie.... How about an entire gospel album? Please?
