I downloaded this to add to a bizarre collection of music for a Christmas party. Everyone loved the different genres offered.
Valentines Day is coming up! This song is perfect. December 19, 2008 Michael Dobbins (Chicago, IL) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Few songs hold the romantic, vulnerable, and sincere together as well as "I'm Yours". Maybe "Naked" by Patience Gloria or "Lay Lady Lay" by Dylan, but still "I'm Yours" should not be underestimated for it's simple, powerful message of love.

I`m not sure why some people are being so critical of Jason Mraz, but I fell in love with I`m Yours the first time I heard it (on Turkish TV, of all places). The rhythm is contagious and makes me feel great. I listen to it constantly. As a musician, I have great respect for his instrumental techniques, and the lyrics are witty--not cliche. I think the man`s got talent! I`d love to see him and his group in concert. I expect he`ll be known world-wide...well...now.

Like the tune, like the thought behind the song, but one thing about the lyric blows the song. "It's our God-forsaken right to be loved. . ." Forsake: -verb (used with object), -sook, -saken, -saking. 1. to quit or leave entirely; abandon; desert: She has forsaken her country for an island in the South Pacific. 2. to give up or renounce (a habit, way of life, etc.). Now, unless Mraz is making a cynical comment on the state of love in today's world, he's 180 degrees off from his intention; probably meant something like "God-given," but that wouldn't have enough syllables. When you're trying to write smart, witty lyrics, it helps to know what the words you're using mean.
I liked it September 15, 2008 Robert Edge (oklahoma) 1 out of 4 found this review helpful
I thought it was a very good song, for those who like to bash artist I suggest you try and write and sing music. The guys got a pretty good voice and its an orginal piece of music. It kinda fits in there with colbie calet and jack johnson, so I guess if you like that type of music than you'll like this guy.
