Enya's "Lothlorien" is a sensual,mystical instrumental. Enya penned "Lothlorien" looong before she participated in the "Fellowship of the Ring" soundtrack. She caught Tolkien's spirituality in her music like a vision in a dreamcatcher. It's powerful without lyrics. It's a sonic depiction of the Elf Queen Galadriel's mystical realm.
"Lothlorien" musically depicts the lush elven forest,the land where Galadriel sang the trees into being. One can easily imagine this sensual,erotic music accompanying the impassioned lovemaking of the Elf Queen with her hobbit lover Frodo. After all,the Mirror of Galadriel scene happened on Feb. 14,Valentine's Day&Peter Jackson made it quite romantic! Enya's "Lothlorien" is a sexy New Age masterpiece. It's too bad it didn't make it onto the movie soundtrack. Still,it's worth savoring. So,be it Valentine's Day,or you've got that loving feeling,this song is perfect...
