Unidentified Trainwreck July 2, 2008 Michael Kerner (Brooklyn, New York U.S.A.) 4 out of 6 found this review helpful
When it actually comes down to the mammoth success of High School Musical, the feeling has shown to young wannabe artists that are just more about hype, rather than the straight forward heart. Yet, when Vanessa Hudgens made it on her own with Come Back To Me a few years ago, she unfortunately didn't appeal to anyone but the fans of Bubblegum Pop, that Britney Spears and many others successfully oversaturated back in the 90's. Her latest single doesn't seperate her from that young pre-teen image, that has shown well for others like Miley Cirus. Sneakernight, the first single from her sophmore album, Identified, feels like it is a song that wastes the heart, and sounds like she wasted her time, trying to capatalize on her success of the upcoming High School Musical 3. I wasn't driven into this song, because it just feels like it is just garbage. Song: F+
