Getting over Daughtry's "Over You" is like getting over a bad flu. You're glad it's over and done with! "Over you" is Daughtry's attempt to be an emotastic, gritty Nickelbacker. He's a soundalike for Canadian frontman Chad Kroeger. "Over You" is about getting over a bad breakup. There's the cliched anger,and "now I've moved on" slop. You'll be glad when it's over!

First off, I like Daughtry, I was a fan of his during season 5, and I've widely supported his songs when they came out, however, this song was a major misstep for the album, and even more of a mistake to put on radio. I mean, the verses are boring, the lyrics are sub-par, and the chorus wears on you very quickly. Thus, when it's played to death be evil DJ's the song loses all its little luster, and instead gets to be one of the most annoying songs of the year.
So overall, a mistake for Daughtry, and one that will hopefully go away soon, before my sanity is lost. He has a lot better songs than this, so go buy those instead.
