This is great music!!! January 28, 2008 William Navas Rivera (San Juan, PR USA) I'm always looking for new music. White Rabbits is simply amazing. I definetely recomend this album for every single fan of alternative music. This is pure rock greatness. Best debut since Arcade Fire's Funeral. Best tracks the plot, tourist trap and while we go dancing, but really, just get the whole album because is a great secuence of music. You have to listen to it entirely. Peace
Great New Indie Band January 25, 2008 J. M. Braun (Madison, WI) 1 out of 3 found this review helpful
Saw the White Rabbits live after hearing most of their CD. Rare occasion where I enjoyed each equally and immensely. Great Album. IMHO, one of the best of 2007.
Awesome! August 24, 2007 Tyler Ewen 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
I saw White Rabbits live in Chicago this summer, and they were amazing. Almost every member played multiple instruments throughout the set. You could tell they were having fun doing what they do. Fort Nightly, their debut album, sounds just like their live shows. To me it sounds like a tropical Wolf Parade. I've been listening to it constantly since I bought it; it's fantastic.
I love this CD!! August 22, 2007 R. Kerr (Baltimore, MD) Best indie CD I've heard in a long time. And catch their live show! I hate when bands are awful live and their CDs are overproduced-- this is not at all the case with White Rabbits.
Best Album of 2007 (so far) May 23, 2007 blankwave (New York, NY United States) The most exciting indie release I've heard all year, and if you can believe it, they are even better live! For fans of Spoon, Walkmen (although these are a stretch as WR have originality up the wahzoo, just points of reference really). Lots of great drums (two drummers!), enticing guitars and pounding keys. In all the wonderful noise the amazing thing is that the lyrics all stand out and the melodies are cathy as hell. You'll be bouncing along from start to finish. Take a chance on this, I promise you won't be let down. High points are "Kid On My Shoulders","The Plot","While We Go Dancing" and "I Used To Complain, Now I Don't".
