Clay does it again! May 8, 2008 C. M. Moret (Southeastern United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Clay delivers a heartfelt and masterful performance on this song, which is in the mellow style of "The Way" from "Measure of a Man" (a great song also.)
This is a new song, but it gave me a "deja vu" as though I had heard it before. I finally realized the chorus is very similar (melodically) to "I Survived You." (PS, "earworm" is a disgusting expression.)
very good May 6, 2008 M. crowe (mississippi) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I think this is a very good album. Even though I liked a thousand different ways, this one is better. I'll give it 5 stars. I've been a Clay fan since day one. I don't see why this album shouldn't get a LOT of plays on the radio
Incredibly moving May 5, 2008 Jarber3 (Salt Lake City, UT USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Clay's voice and emotion along with the heavenly strings, guitar, and piano bring a real beauty to Ryan Tedder's lyrics. I am moved every time I hear this song. Thank you to all the artists involved.
"On My Way Here" by Clay Aiken May 4, 2008 Laurie (IL. USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I am excited to get Clay Aiken's NEW CD "On My Way Here" after now hearing and being able to download the title song, also called "On My Way Here." From the CD-snippets I heard from Amazon, as well, I think THIS CD going to be EXCELLENT! It sounds like Clay might be showing us a new side of his personality in these songs? From what I've heard (and a couple shows he's sang on) he seems to show a very sensitive, romantic, and deeply vulnerable side in a couple songs, OOZES sensuality with a sexy "growl" in 1, and is almost "rockin the house" in others!--LOL. I can't wait to get the CD, come on May 6th!
Great hook May 3, 2008 A. Christie (Plano, TX United States) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Poignant lyrics sung by one of the best male voices of this generation. What's not to love. Listening to it just once gives you an earworm. Luckily it's a good earworm.
