Inspiring! October 31, 2008 S. E. Snider (Shreveport, LA) Great melodies. Fantastic lyrics. Awesome guitars and vocals. I would definitely recommend this CD and any of Dragonforce's other CDs.
Uh, Guys, Got Anything New? October 30, 2008 GEO (MA) This garbage sounds exactly like the rest the crap before it. I've owned all their albums and they eventually bored me. "Operation Ground And Pound" has some appeal and "Through The Fire And Flames" has an awesome opening, but everything else just blends in terribly...not even a desperately needed tempo change for any other tracks! I remember saying the exact same thing upon seeing the video to Through The Fire & Flames for the first time on YouTube. Every d*ckless Guitar Hero loser responded with swearing and mediocre insults in an attempt to defend their precious DragonForce. Sad. That was just me explaining that Through The Fire wasn't unique by a long shot when compared to the rest of the Dragonforce library. Gee, I wonder whats gonna happen here? If you reading this believe I'm wrong, I dare you to listen to "Sonic Firestorm", "Inhuman Rampage" and "Valley Of The Damned" straight through (all tracks of all three of these albums) and find a musical distinction between them. I dare you. I'm not deeply into Power Metal, but I honestly gave this band a try only to be disappointed by their lack of creativity. I wouldn't recommend Inhuman Rampage unless it's the first album you buy from them - that way, it'll sound different, fast and new. Guitar Hero losers, you may now tell me I'm wrong.
Probably Dragonforce's most popular album, and for good reason. October 29, 2008 Robert Thompson This album is a great follow up to Sonic Firestorm. While it doesn't really improve on anything or step out of its safety zone its still a solid album with lots of mind blowingly mast guitar riffs and its still some of the best power metal available. They packed some really great songs in here, my favorites being Through the Fire and Flames, Storming the Burning Fields, Cry for Eternity, and surprisingly enough, the bonus song Lost Souls In Endless Time. Yes that's right, the bonus song is one of my favorites. One of my favorites of all of Dragonforce's albums actually, and its my girlfriends number one Dragonforce song. There's a lot of keyboard used in it so that may turn some people off. There's probably two main reasons for this album's popularity. The first being that Sonic Firestorm managed to greatly increase the fanbase with the hit, Fury of the Storm. The second main reason is definitely the fact that Through the Fire and Flames became famous thanks to Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock. Youtuube viedos sprang up everywhere depicting people trying their best to pass it on expert, let alone get 100%. Another great power metal album from Dragonforce, these guys just can't be stopped.
Very Good July 21, 2008 Anonymous (Michigan) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
Dragonforce is very good. Aside from the occasional cuss word... which is usually the "H" word which is not bad in this case because it is talking about the place. Although the lyrics seem to be about the same that is the only argument some people have against them. Other than that Dragonforce is good. So far out of all the Dragonforce sosngs I have heard this is the best album!
If you like rock - you will like this CD March 25, 2008 MPG13 (Florida) I heard for the first time while playing guitar hero and new I had to get the CD. The CD is awesome. I just wish guitar hero would use more of their music.
